I absolutely love shaping garments. I also really like strapless, similar to corset-style tops, as well as almost all clothing styles that can tighten the waist and smooth out excess flesh (these excess fats always show up beneath the thin, tight-fitting clothes). So, when I discovered a swimsuit brand that met all my fantasies, I was absolutely ecstatic: TA3, a swimsuit and clothing line that focuses on “super shaping”, perfectly combines the shaping effect of shaping garments with the abdominal-reducing effect of strapless tops. Of course, I immediately bought two pieces. Sydney Sweeney, known for her stunning swimsuit looks, was also photographed wearing TA3’s swimsuits. According to the TA3 website, many celebrities such as Drew Barrymore and Beyoncé have also worn TA3’s one-piece swimsuits.
The shaping one-piece swimsuit collection of TA3 (along with a few high-waisted bikinis) is designed to tighten the waist and lift the chest, ultimately creating a sexy and alluring hourglass figure for people of all body types. The sizes range from XXS to 4X, and the maximum chest size can reach AH cup. The swimsuits are made of medium compression fabric, which fits the body and showcases smooth curves – thus receiving hundreds of enthusiastic customer reviews on the brand’s official website. I really like my TA3 swimsuits and even wear them as tights under my favorite loose jeans, which not only flatters my figure but also adds a bright touch to the otherwise simple look.
The TA3 swimsuit offers a variety of sizes ranging from short to long styles, allowing women of all body types, from petite to tall, and those in between, to find the perfect fit. I am 168 centimeters tall and find the long style very comfortable; my sister, who is 173 centimeters tall, never wore one-piece swimsuits before. Now she has finally found a swimsuit brand suitable for her body type and she is very happy. She plans to purchase a sporty style surfing model.
Sally’s review of the TA3 Plungey swimsuit in size large, short torso
I chose the regular deep V style swimsuit in gemstone blue (there are also high-waist styles available). My cup size is DDD, so I specifically wanted to see if the low-waist style would suit a large cup size. To be honest, during my vacation in Mexico, when I swam and dived, I felt extremely secure, which was a pleasant surprise for me! The swimsuit held everything in place, and I felt very confident while doing all kinds of activities in it.
I really like the drawstring design of this piece of clothing. It not only highlights my curves but also doesn’t make me feel constrained. I can tighten it to create a sense of tightness, making my hourglass figure more pronounced; or I can loosen it a little to make the wearing more comfortable and loose. Moreover, I really like that the shoulder straps can be adjusted, and since I’m only 155 centimeters tall, I can choose the short style.
In terms of durability, this swimsuit still looks great even after being washed five or six times. So far, I haven’t noticed any fading or deformation. Considering its sturdy construction, I estimate that it will last for a long time. From this perspective, the price of $178 seems reasonable.
Jaclyn’s review of the TA3 Plungey swimsuit, size XL, regular torso
I felt like a catfish in a swimsuit. The fit up top was great, and I felt very secure and flattered at the bust, something that usually concerns me about swimsuits that aren’t bra-sized. However, I felt like the suit gaped at the bottom.
The Plungey is very reminiscent of a shapewear bodysuit. It’s not the most comfortable swimsuit I’ve ever worn, but it’s a small trade-off for a few hours to feel confident enough to have a photo shoot out in public of myself in a swimsuit.
I felt secure swimming in it, too. I was originally worried the long strings would get in the way with swimming, but it was no issue going for a few laps, or jumping in. Everything stayed put.
